Red Lips and Cigar Sticks, LLC was created in June of 2018, by the founder and owner, Naimah “Ni” Pears. Mrs. Pears is originally from Newark, New Jersey. However, as a child, she moved with her mother to Jackson, Michigan. She resided in Jackson, Michigan through her childhood and up until her high school graduation in 1997. After, completing two years of Community College at Jackson Community College (JCC). She relocated to Charlotte, NC in 1999, to further her college education. Mrs. Pears has been employed with the City of Charlotte for 23 years. Mrs. Pears has a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master’s of Science/Human Resources Management (MSHRM) from Strayer University.

Outside of Mrs. Pears’ professional life, she has a plethora of talents such as cooking, interior design, holiday décor specialist, tablescape, event planning, writing/journalism, and most importantly, entertaining guests, which has intrigued her passion about cocktails and cigar pairing.  This is certainly how Red Lips and Cigar Sticks, LLC was formed from her passion for smoking a good quality premium cigar and being very knowledgeable! 

The spin on the “Red Lips” stems from her signature look while having a cigar, as well as being fashionable. As a result, the business and brand was formed as Red Lips and Cigar Sticks, LLC. The subsidiary company name is RL&CS Fashion, which showcases the fashion sold on our website. Red Lips and Cigar Sticks, LLC is a unique boutique and full-service E-commerce Company, where the Cigar Lifestyle, Beauty and Fashion is Celebrated. Our lifestyle digital magazine blog covered fashion, beauty, entertainment, and the cigar culture. First article was published in 2018. Our target audience is cigar enthusiasts and fashionistas. In addition to our passion for fashion and blogging, we also offer Cigar Concierge Services, Personal Styling Services & Subscriptions, and Consulting & Coaching Services. 

Mrs. Pears is currently preparing herself to transition into entrepreneurship, fully, after her remaining six years with the City of Charlotte is completed, and she's retired.
